IT830 Contemporary Issues in Distance Education

I have absorbed a lot of knowledge and written academic articles in the Distance Education, but what impressed me the most was the multimedia presentation at the end of the term. This attempt made me more interested in making animations and videos.

IT820 Designing/Developing Web-Based Instruction

In this course, I designed an online class, News Reporting. After this project, I not only mastered the skills of designing and developing a website, but also accumulated experience in designing instructions for a course.

IT850 Corporate eLearning

In Corporate eLearning course, I designed and produced a new employee online training at Bulletin, the school newspaper in a learning management system, Canvas. I have gained an deeper understanding of the lear. After this project, I not only mastered the skills of designing and developing a website, but also accumulated experience in designing instructions for a course.

IT727 Integrating Education Technology in Teaching

In this course, I came into contact with many teaching methods and new technology tools that I heard but never tried, and I also tried online teamwork for the final project. Overall, I have benefited a lot.

IT710 Web Design

I learned how to use Dreamweaver to build an academic sharing website. This course and IT820 have contributed my ability in designing and creating websites.

IT899 Master's Project in Instructional Design and Technology

What I did in IT899 are redesigning a college history course, and creating this ePortfolio website, as you can see.

The experiences of the master's project let me know the content and process of work of an instructional designer, which increase my understanding and confidence in the future work. What I learned are first, communication is quite important in the work, another thing is that sometimes your idea cannot be realized due to lots of possible reasons for example the client.
